Tzvetan Todorov

Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1939, Tzvetan Todorov has written more than 20 books on a wide range of subjects from poetics to concentration camps, including Imperfect Garden: The Legacy of Humanism (2002). He has taught at Harvard, Yale and Columbia. He lives in Paris.
