# Bryan Hamlin

**Born in Somerset, England* Bryan Hamlin has a *B.Sc. in microbiology and *PhD in biochemistry. He** forsook science for some decades to pursue faith-based conflict resolution work*ing the Middle East and Russia supported by an interfaith NGO*. Now in his retirement he is re-finding himself and his passion for science. He is currently President of the New England Botanical Club and lives in Boston, *Massachusetts.**
