Earlier this week, our editor Daniel Trilling took part in a discussion hosted by the Welsh National Opera as part of its Faith season. Entitled "Is there room in Britishness for cultural difference?", the event asked whether multiple cultures and religions can exist side by side in modern day Britain, and whether multiculturalism is really to blame for the erosion of community.

The event was chaired by Abdul Rehman Malik, director of Radical Middle Way, and Daniel was joined on the panel by Julie Siddiqi of Islamic Society of Britain and Dave Rich of the Communications at the Community Security Trust.

You can watch the video of the event here, or download it as a podcast via Soundcloud.
